Milestones

Aren't milestones fun? 

Camilla rolled for the first time Saturday morning while Ryan was letting me sleep in.  Thankfully she had 2 repeat performances that day for me.  Ryan and I cheered so loudly I'm sure the neighbors heard us.

My next project should be getting her laughing on video.  Ryan is a pro at getting her to giggle.  He plays peek-a-boo and squishes her legs up.  She's a total sucker for his song and dance.  Well, I guess Camilla and I both don't stand a chance when Ryan is around.

Easter 2012

Doctrine and Covenants 76: 40-42

40 And this is the ^agospel, the glad ^btidings, which the voice out of the heavens bore record unto us—

41 That he ^acame into the world, even Jesus, to be ^bcrucified for the world, and to ^cbear the sins of the ^dworld, and to ^esanctify the world, and to ^fcleanse it from all unrighteousness;

42 That through him all might be ^asaved whom the Father had put into his ^bpower and made by him;

I love Easter time, the springness, the renewal of life, the happiness and the beautiful sacrifice of our Savior for me.  Jesus Christ was resurrected, He lives!  I am so thankful for this gift of resurrection, that some day I will get to hold Elspeth again, with a perfected body to match her perfect spirit.

We had a quiet Easter at home.  Ryan spoke in church and did a great job, I taught the young women's lesson about the Resurrection.  Camilla was looking super cute in her Easter dress.

Camilla is 4 months old.  She giggles, wiggles and almost rolls over.  She loves books and playing with her feet.  She recently starting sucking her thumb, she prefers the left.

I love being a mother to my 2 girls Elspeth and Camilla.  They have both made my heart full of joy and gratitude for the miracles they truly both are.  I am blessed.
